Installation view of the works at the Accademy of Fine Arts Bologna, Luca Caccioni course 2022 The pot interrupts nature’s continuous flow and extrapolates discrete parts in correspondence to a specific cultural relevance. From these vases communication is born. The resulting sign, however, never stops fighting against the continuous flow of nature, which, with all the strength of difference, fights for life against the repetition necessary for communication.
On the horizon, an artificial garden finds in the border, in the edge and in the non-finished the seeds of this force. Like a stain in the frame or an uncut smudge from a background, this force is found in the space between a painting and a sign; and in the open crack of a labyrinthine circuit, it flourishes. |
