“EXHIBITIONISM”
Solo show at Galleria ArteSiA! by Räto Bachmann, curated by Pietro Giovannoli “Exhibitionism” explores the socio-aesthetic conventions of the art world through the use of visual tautologies and meta-representational references. The project originates from reflections on the new series of large-scale paintings currently in progress, entitled “Installation view”, in which the representation of spaces linked to the art world coincides with a reference to specific exhibition conventions, in a self-reflective and meta-pictorial extreme that echoes the exacerbation of pictorial levels, chromatic digressions, and figurative multiplications.
